A found treasure!
Happy Sunday!
It's pretty briskey in the valley after the first snow storm..
So, I owe a big shout out to whichever neighbor left the beautiful wood chair curb-side at the intersection. Thank you so much! I think it's called kismet. I've been dreaming and lamenting about a good wood chair to trade in for my broken but still usable metal fold-up and this one literally crossed my path at just the right time -- and it's got wheels! Thank you, thank you.. I'm so very grateful for happening upon it. It's a lovely chair and so perfect for me!! I can't wait to crochet a nice retro 70's seat cushion for it.
Other grand and not so grand happenings this Sunday ---
My old Kenmore Sears sewing machine, 20+ years old with great retro looks, but not great handling, is busy making fleece neckwarmers to keep us warm on those day treks up to the storm. Fleece is a hard material to sew, and Kendra is going the extra miles that I won't put the other machines through. One down, and one to go. Go Kendra!
Tonight the plan is for some fun early 70's John Carpenter and Wes Craven DVD horror suspense set and searching out new stuffing recipes! Forget the pie. Stuffing is what Thanksgiving dinner is about!
Hope you're having a blast this Sunday!
